Authorities have confirmed that a suspect has been arrested for the murder of a veteran American Airlines flight attendant who was killed in a random stabbing while they were in Denver.
According to the Denver Police Department, Elijah Caudill, 24, was arrested Sunday night in connection with the stabbing of four people over the weekend.
In a statement sent to Fox News Digital, American Airlines confirmed that Phoenix-based flight attendant Celinda Levno, 71, was one of the victims.
“We are deeply saddened and mourn the tragic loss of our colleague who was the victim of a senseless crime. Our thoughts and support are with his family, loved ones and colleagues, and we are doing everything we can to assist law enforcement in their investigation,” an airline spokesperson said in a statement.

A GoFundMe page has also been set up by Levno’s family and friends to help with funeral expenses.
“Celinda Anne Levno was an amazing woman. She was 71 years old and still working hard as a flight attendant,” the inscription on the page read.
“She spent her free time with her loving husband, John, and her sister, Melanie. She raised many horses throughout her life and was very involved in the Arabian horse industry,” the post continued.
“She was also an amazing singer and played her flute in concert regularly. Celinda was the most giving and kindest person. She did so much for others. A wonderful and kind woman who was taken too soon.”
