Ahsoka May Get Her New Baylan Skoll
When actor Ray Stevenson passed away in 2023, it was before the full span of his youth star Wars the letter was checked. Now, for the second season Ahsoka are getting ready to roll, creator Dave Filoni and Lucasfilm may have found a man to step into the evil shoes of Baylan Skoll.
Rory McCann, better known to the audience as the Hound on Game of ThronesIt is reported that he will replace Baylan Skoll in Star Wars: Ahsoka if it returns to Disney+, maybe in 2026. InSneider first reported the news and io9 reached out to Lucasfilm for confirmation. There has been no response since publication and we will update this post if or when we hear back.
When the audience last saw Skoll, he was trapped on the planet Peridea (along with Ahsoka, Sabine, and his former student Shin Hati) in an attempt to investigate some of the deepest mysteries in the Force. It was clear that Filoni had high expectations for the evil former Jedi. However, when Stevenson passed, the audience debated whether the show should continue with that story. It appears that Stevenson’s family has agreed to act, according to the first report.
As for McCann, although she is best known for her companion Arya, she is a kind character of the hero. Game of Thronesyou may also know him as General e Gladiator II and playing Lurch in Hot fuzz (the “Yarp” guy). He is an amazing person with a strong personality. Good choice.
There is no official work as to when Ahsoka will return, only that Filoni has been working hard writing. As it stands, it may be the next Star Wars show to come to Disney+ after that Andor.
