Jay-Z’s lawyer says sexual abuse allegations ‘blatantly false’

Jay-Z’s attorney continued to defend his client after appearing in a lawsuit filed by Sean “Diddy” Combs, about a woman who accused the rap star of sexually abusing her when she was 13.

Alex Spiro spoke at Roc Nation headquarters in New York on December 16 and said the allegations against Jay-Z are “obviously, patently false.” Spiro was referring to a recent NBC News interview with an unnamed Alabama woman who admitted to making “some mistakes” when it came to recounting what happened at the VMA’s after parties in the 2000s.

Spiro wants to make it known that this conflict “is not trivial… If you look at the time, it is impossible that this could happen.”

“I want to make sure this is clear: When people create an account, whether it’s on purpose or their mind is blank or something, they can’t get that core part of the story right. They can keep repeating it over and over again, and that’s what happened, that core part. I’m not there,” said Spiro according to The Hollywood Reporter.
