ESPN’s Stephen A Smith breaks down OnlyFans model salaries of $43M, comparing NBA salary figures

ESPN star Stephen A. Smith was visibly surprised on Friday as he learned how much OnlyFans model Sophie Rain earned for her content and how much one fan paid to access it.

Rain posted his annual earnings from OnlyFans on social media, showing that he earned more than $43.5 million. One fan, named Charley, appeared to have spent more than $4.7 million and Rain posted a screen-recorded video of the fan giving him $200 at a time.

Smith noted that the earnings are more than some NBA players.

“Sophie Rain has made more money on OnlyFans than most NBA stars,” Smith said on the “Stephen A. Smith Show.” “Ladies and gentlemen, look at this list here – Anthony Davis, Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, Anthony Edwards, look at the money they’re making.

“This platform has grown so much that, by 2023, OnlyFans, content creators will earn a total of $6.6 billion, which exceeds the total salaries earned by the National Basketball Association ($6.6 billion vs. $4.9 billion), according to Basketball Forever.

“Miss Rain says she’s a devout Christian and a virgin. So Sophie makes $43 million and almost $5 million from Charley. I think he might be the scariest man in America, huh?”

Rain, 20, is adamant that the figure is real and pushed back against any dissenting opinion.

She also advised other girls like her not to think that being an OnlyFans content creator is “sunshine and rainbows.”

“I don’t want girls to think that if it rains sophie does this I have to do it too,” she wrote on X last week. “this job is not sunshine and rainbows 24/7 and if you don’t make it big, it will NOT be worth it. Whoever does it, I wish you success, but please don’t quit your jobs because of this.”
