Flavor Flav Says NBC Kicked Him Out of the Backstreet Boys Dressing Room

Flavor Flav he said NBC security escorted him out of the Backstreet Boys dressing room at the annual Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting.
In X’s since-deleted post, the hip-hop star, 65, wrote on Wednesday, December 4, “Feeling weird … I was invited to the Rockefeller Tree Lighting tonite and I was escorted to see my boys … BOYS … and we were backstage in their dressing room … security came to me and said @nbc doesn’t want me in this place and I have to leave.”
“At that moment … their social media woman came and asked me to shoot social content. What have I done for NBC or for anyone??” he continued. “All I’ve ever done is try to spread joy and love … and I think I did it for NBC at the Olympics.”
After deleting the post, Flav later shared with X, “I deleted the tweet … but my spirit is broken.”
In the following tweet, the The Smell of Love The star shared a short video of herself enjoying Wednesday’s tree lighting and wrote, “Christmas in the city … nothing like the Rockefeller tree lighting . 🫶🏾”

The Backstreet Boys joined the host Kelly Clarkson with Wednesday’s tree lighting, broadcast live on NBC. They play Nat King Cole’“A Christmas Song (Merry Christmas to You).” Other musical guests are included Raye, Jennifer Hudson and the Great City.
Meanwhile, Flav recently revealed that he did not know the actor and singer Selena Gomez she is best friends with her favorite pop star, Taylor Swift.
In November, Flav uploaded a GIF of Gomez talking to Swift about X. In the video, Swift seems shocked by what Gomez said. “I get that Taylor and Selena are best friends,” she captioned the clip.

The self-proclaimed “King Swiftie” told Us in September that he hopes Swift gets married Travis Kelce and he even wants to officiate at their wedding.
“I think they will be together for a while. I hope they do [are]and if they get married, I want to be a preacher,” said Flav. “I want him to marry them.”
Flav has been vocal about his support for Swift, 34, for years, he said Us that it seems like the singer is “in a really good place in his life” right now — especially with Kelce by his side.
