Three people were found dead in a Baldwin Park home after Christmas Day, County Sheriff’s Department officials said.
Authorities found three bodies — two women and a man — at a home in the 4700 block of Bogart Avenue around 6:48 p.m. Thursday.
No details are available, but the case is being treated as a homicide investigation.
Baldwin Park police told reporters that the victims suffered multiple stab wounds and a person of interest is in custody. The suspect met the police when he arrived at the house, but tried to drive away and crashed, authorities said.
“I know that he is leaving the house, but I don’t know if he really lives there, or what his association at home says,” Lt. Michael Modica told KABC-TV.
Authorities added that they did not consider the violence a random act but did not comment on a motive.
